Everyone had a great time this last weekend at the $1k tournament and said that they want to see some more tournaments like it. Soon. So we'll be holding another $1k tournament on September 18th. That's the week before the Scars of Mirrodin Prerelease. The last chance to play standard before the rotation and the next PTQ season.

• The Swarm:  Around the world, researchers are confounded by a mystery. Is it all by chance, or are they signs of an impending catastrophe? • Rattus: Europe, 1347. A disaster is about to strike! The Black Death reaches Europe, devastating the population! • Hordes: Primal Mk II: Complete core rules for the HORDES tabletop miniatures game, in-depth histories of the non-human nations of western Immoren and the conflicts that have shaped them, plus detailed profiles and rules for the powerful warbeasts and soldiers of the Trollbloods, Circle Orboros, Legion of Everblight, and Skorne.
• Those Pesky Humans: Play the role of the Monsters who are fighting off the annoying Humans who keep invading your dungeon. One player, as Those Pesky Humans, wants to delve into the depths of the Monster Lair and achieve fame, acclaim, and lots of cold, hard gold pieces by retrieving the Three Legendary Gem Stones...but at least one of them must make it out alive! The opposing player, as the Monster Lord and his minions, seeks to kill The Pesky Humans and protect his hard-attained hoard.
