Information about upcoming events at BattleZone Games
It's Fall, that can only mean one thing! There's a start of a new Magic: the Gathering block and it's one of the most anticipated ever. Yes, Return to Ravnica Prerelease is almost here and it offers a a very unique play experience that we haven't seen in a long time. Read on to get the full details of the coming Return to Ravnica Prerelease!
BattleZone will be doing it's first auction on August 11th. Here is the initial list of board game offerings. If you would like to bring in a game to be auction, email us, call us, or let us know in the shop.
This weekend is the Prerelease for the Magic 2013 Core Set and it's going to be a great weekend of events at the store. We'll be running events from Midnight Friday through to Sunday afternoon. Remember it is $5 if you bring someone signing up for a DCI number and $5 for your second or later event.
Thanks to everyone that came out for the First Learn to Play day, we're doing it again this month on June 16th. We're taking in as much feedback as possible and will work to make them even more accessible.
UPDATE: By popular request, we've added Dixit as a party game to play this Saturday.
We're going to be trying out something new over this summer, Saturdays dedicated to having as many games available to try out that way people can explore a variety of games that they have been curious about. Each Learn to Play Day will feature different games for people to try out.
