In Dungeon Petz, players are members of a family of enterprising imps that have just started a new business - nurturing and raising infant creatures in order to ultimately sell them to evil Dungeon Lords when they mature into ferocious monsters. Each beastie requires proper care and feeding, with very specific needs that must be catered to - and the larger the monster, the more needs they have and the more difficult it is to keep the animal caged and in a pleasant mood. Players earn additional points by entering their "petz" in various contests to show off their dungeon-protecting and adventurer-slaying skills.
